Ma perché ’l tempo fugge che t’assonna,
qui farem punto, come buon sartore
che com’ elli ha del panno fa la gonna;
But because the time that makes you drowsy flees,
here we will make a stop, like a good tailor
who makes the gown according to the cloth he has;
