Paradiso 3.70–72
Piccarda to Dante in the sphere of the Moon
Frate, la nostra volontà quïeta
virtù di carità, che fa volerne
sol quel ch’avemo, e d’altro non ci asseta.
Brother, the power of charity quiets
our will, making us will
only what we have, and thirst for nothing else.
