Aeneid 2.726–729

Aeneas fleeing Troy with his father and son

et me, quem dudum non ulla iniecta movebant

tela neque adverso glomerati ex agmine Grai,

nunc omnes terrent aurae, sonus excitat omnis

suspensum et pariter comitique onerique timentem.

and I, whom a little before no shower of weapons

nor Greeks massed against me could move,

now feared every breeze and started at every sound,

anxious alike for the child beside me and the father I bore.
